This document is intended to provide the reader with the necessary steps to set up a Group Mailbox

 

UCP/eMG80 – Group Voicemail Box

 

A Voice mailbox can be associated with a Station Group.  Calls to the group are assigned to over flow and can route to the Station Group Mail box where the caller can leave a voice message.  Messages are retrieved in the same manner as normal voice messages employing the assigned Message Wait Station number and the defined Group Mailbox Password.  Messages can be retrieved only if a {GROUP MAILBOX} Flex button is assigned to the station.

Enter group number and click load

 

 

 

 

 

 

Order 10 – Enter the VSF-VM group number

Order 11 – Enter the overflow time

Order 17 – Enter the Extension number that is going to receive the messages

Order 18 – Enter the Password for the station (set up in PGM 227)

 

In this instance, after 10 seconds, the call will overflow to the VSF-VM group 420 and allow the caller to leave a message in Extension 105’s mailbox.

 

Programme a group mailbox flex key on all stations needing to access the messages:

 [TRANS/PGM] + {FLEX} + VM Station Group + Group MessageWait Station + [HOLD/SAVE]

 

To retrieve messages:

 

  1. Press the Group Mailbox flex key and receive the Password Prompt
  2. Dial the ACD group number and the Group Mailbox Password (password from order 18 above)
