This document is intended to provide the reader with the necessary steps to programme ACD Ring Mode

 

 

UCP / eMG80 – ACD Ring Mode Usage

 

 

It is possible to set an ACD group up so that a supervisor can change the ring mode of only the hunt group.  This is particularly useful is the group needs to change the ring destination regardless of the main system mode.

 

Example

 

The office is manned taking calls 24 hours a day, calls route to a main auto attendant giving options for departments.  The tech support department shuts at 17:30, but the other groups need to continue to take calls.

Setup an ACD group for the Tech Support Group and appoint a Supervisor

Set Day/Night/Timed destinations for the group

Set Auto Ring Mode (Manual change or refer to Auto Ring Mode Table for Automatic use)

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the assigned supervisor station, setup a ring mode key Trans/PGM > Flex Key > 570 > Group Number > Hold Save.

 

This key will allow you to change the mode of the ACD group without affecting the main system operating mode.
