This document is intended to provide the reader with the necessary steps on how to create a dummy extension. 

 

 

iPECS UCP – Create a dummy extension

 

 

 

 

 

To create a dummy extension, you will need to virtually register one in PGM 101:

 

 

 

Click  Virtual Registration

 

Choose Station, Device ID and Virtual MAC to YES(it can be any Device ID) then click Register

 

That will make a new extension Type, IP and MAC address, on PGM 105 as seen bellow:

 

 

Adding a New Station Number will create the dummy extension:
