This document is intended to provide the reader with an overview of the call parking featuring on the iPECS UCP & eMG80.

 

iPECS UCP/eMG80 – Call Park

 

You may place an active outside call in a special holding location called a Park Orbit for easy access from any station in the system. There are 200Park Orbits allowing multiple calls to be parked simultaneously.
 
Operation
iPECS IP & LDP Phones
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
To park an active external call
2. Dial the Park Orbit number (#601~#800).
3. Return to idle.

To retrieve a parked call
2. Dial the Park Orbit number (#601~#800).

1. Momentarily press the hook-switch, R or Recall button
To park an active external call
2. Dial the Park Orbit number (#601~#800).
3. Return to idle.

To retrieve a parked call
2. Dial the Park Orbit number (#601~#800).
 
Conditions
1. If the selected Park Orbit returns a busy signal, the user may simply dial another Park Orbit without the need to disconnect.
2. Intercom calls cannot be placed in a Park Orbit.
3. A Parked call will recall to the station that parked the call should the Call Park Timer expire. The normal Hold Recall process is then initiated.
4. A Parked call will indicate busy at all appearances.
