2. Document Purpose & History

With the introduction of iPECS One version 3.0, users can now use Click to Dial via iPECS One directly, independent of any CRM integration. This guide describes the steps to enable this. 

Please note you need to update iPECS ONE to v3. You can follow the KB: iPECS ONE – Updating the web client

 

 

iPECS One (VERSION 3) – Click to Dial Setup

 

 

 

  1. Log in to iPECS One.

  2. Select your iPECS One user icon in the top right of the screen, and click Settings.

  3. Within settings, navigate to “Click to Dial”.

  4. Within the Click to Dial section, there are two links. The first will take you to the chrome extension necessary for the Click to Dial functionality, and the second will install the Chrome Host for clipboard dialling. Ensure both of these are installed, and the “Click to Dial” radio button is toggled on.

  5. Once installed, please enable the Chrome extension. You can click on the puzzle icon to open all extensions and then click on iPECS ONE Click to Dial to enable. Please note that the circle on top of the phone icon must be green.

 

       

 

 

        6. You can also pin this phone icon to appear on your Chrome.

 

     

 

 

       7. Once enabled, click to dial will automatically highlight numbers on web pages. Clicking these numbers will dial them in iPECS One. For example:
