This document is intended to provide the reader with information on enabling the relevant permissions in Google Chrome for use with the iPECS ONE desktop application

 

iPECS ONE – Google Chrome Permissions 

Please note that when you first login to iPECS ONE on Google Chrome you should receive prompts to enable site permissions for notifications as well as access to the camera and microphone as per the below screenshot. It is necessary for all these permissions to be allowed to enable iPECS ONE to function correctly. If you do not see these requests the please follow this guide to see how to manually enable them.

Procedure for checking and adjusting permissions within Google Chrome for iPECS ONE

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Select the 3 dots menu 

     

  3. Navigate to “Security and Privacy” in the menu on the left and then select “Site Settings”

  4. You should now see the relevant iPECS ONE URL in the recent sites menu. If you do please select it and skip to step 6. If not then select “View permissions and data stored across sites” and proceed to step 5.

  5.   In the search box enter “one” and select the iPECS ONE site from the list below:

  6. Now you need to set the “Camera”, “Microphone” and “Notifications” to “Allow” as per the screenshot below:
