A list of software files for iPECS is shown below, for Hotel and Office use. You will also see the Kernel software as well as gateway software. At the end we have included the latest English prompt system which can be uploaded under the S/W upgrade tab.

How can you define the software that is right for you? Look at the web admin page on your iPECS. Top left will show you the current software version.

UK92M = iPECS 50A Office
UK93M = iPECS 50B Office
UK95M = iPECS 100 Office
UK96M = iPECS 300 Office
UK97M = iPECS 600 Office
UK98M = iPECS 1200 Ofice

If you system shows an N instead of the M, this denotes Hotel software which you would need to use to upgrade.

To upgrade 5.0 systems you will need to download and install the 5.0 to 5.5 file relevant to your system and upgrade to 5.5 – this is in the software library on this website.

If you have a 5.5 /5.6 system, you can go straight to version 6.0 by uploading the Kernel relevant to your system, once this has taken succesfully and you are invited to reset the system, then upload the APP file relevant to your system and again reset when prompted. The system will now take on version 6.0.

Some things to consider – if you have a iPECS 100 or above with a Hardware Issue of 1 or 2, you will need to complete an override command to allow the software to take. This is done through a telnet session into the system, at the maint prompt type: issue IssueOverride on
