iPECS Cloud – TDM extension module setup

TDM Extension Gateways are now available to be used on the cloud to allow you to use existing digital extensions on the cloud platform.

Firstly, you will need to order the extension module and device through the order process.

If you are adding an analogue phone, you will need to order the SLT Normal license.

Once you have ordered the module you will then need to configure the module. To do this you will need to navigate Extension G/W Management, next select your module then click modify.

You will then need to enter a name, the MAC address for the device, and the location it will be under.

If you are connecting it to Cloud, the location will be CCM. Then save it.

Browser to the IP address of the module. The default IP addresses can be found on this KB: iPECS Gateways IP Addresses

In the module, go to System > System Settings > then under IP Address enter the IP address your LIP phones would be using to connect. This can be found under the Reseller Portal > Customer > Customer Info > Phone Setting Info.

Then save it.

Go to LAN > LAN Settings. Here you need to enter how this module will be connected.

For Cloud, you can set it as you do with Cloud phones, choosing DHCP and setting to Remote.

When setting up the extension with user setup you will need to select the digital terminal and then the port on the module that you would like to use.

Once this has been set you can save.

For analog, select SLT Normal from the dropdown, then the port in the analogue module.
