2. Document Purpose & History

 

This document is intended to provide the reader with the necessary steps on how to setup a LIP 9000 series phone on the cloud.

 

 

iPECS Cloud – LIP handset setup

 

 

To setup a LIP handset for use on the Cloud platform, do the following;

 

Press * to enter setup when prompted or press menu > keyset info > network settings

 

Enter password 147*.

 

Press the OK key.

 

Choose profile 1 or 2.

 

In network configuration navigate to network mode.

 

Select DHCP and then press the OK key.

 

Press back and then select system configuration.

 

Select call server and enter IP address 185.110.180.** (for dot press *). This IP address can be found within your reseller portal (Customers > customer info > select the customer > phone setting info)

 

Press OK then select Connection Mode.

 

Select Remote and OK.

 

Press the speaker key, you will then be prompted to reboot, select yes and the phone will come back up online if you have programmed the correct IP address and the MAC address is set up to a user within the customer manager portal.
