2. Document Purpose & History

 

This document is intended to provide the reader with the necessary steps on hot desk feature.

iPECS Cloud – Hot Desk 

 

 

For Hot Desk, you will need to add a Hot Desk phone under Call Manager > Hot Desk which will be the physical dummy phone.

 

 

And also a Hot Desk user under User Setup.

 

The agent needs to be a Single Client and be assigned as a Hot Desk user.

 

You also need to set a Extension Password.

 

 

Then you need to dial the Hot Desk Feature Code + Hot Desk user number + Extension Password + [HOLD] button. You will then be logged in as the Hot Desk user.

 

To log out, dial the Hot Desk Feature Code and you will be able to set a forward + [HOLD] or if you do not want to set one, only press [HOLD].
