This document is intended to provide the reader with the necessary steps on how to change from hard phone to hot/virtual desk user on iPECS Cloud
Problem
It is not possible to change an extension from hard phone to hot/virtual desk without deleting and recreating the extension
Reason
This required for keeping all the call recording and configuration on site.
Action
There is no way to change user type except deleting and recreating. The call recording can be downloaded before deleting.
