IP Attendant – How to install on UCP

First you will need to install the IP attendant using the latest version from the Pragma website.

install the firebird guardian and WinPCap files along with it.

Once the program has installed log into the UCP system and go to PGM443 “station user login” and enter in the ID password and desired number.  To make things easier it is best to make the ID and number the same thing.

In PGM 164 – Add your IP Attendant extn as a main attendant

Open the IP attendant software and go into settings. you will need to enter in the IP address of the UCP, Connection mode (this will be local unless you are a remote worker), and the ID and password you set up in PGM 443. You also need to select the IP address of the PC (Which you can choose from a dropdown menu). then apply and close the menu.

First login needs to use the default admin login which is:

Username – admin
password – 1111

Once you are into the system you have 60 seconds to add an account before it times you out. To do that, go into tools > Account > Add.  Fill in all the details and set the permissions to Supervisor.  After that log out and then log in using the new credentials.  You should now have access. If you have any problems please check out the “IP Attendant – Problems connecting” solution.
