Incoming Call Routing – Analogue

In default, all lines are in Line group 1 (PGM140) you can separate them into different line groups if you want different extensions to have access to different lines.  You do this by ticking or unticking the relevant line groups in PGM117.  Any spare lines, you need to put into spare line groups to avoid them being selected when dialling 9 for an outside line (UCP group 201, EMG80 group 21).  E.g. you install a card that allows 4 lines, but you only have 2 – leave lines 1 & 2 in line group 1 and put lines 3 & 4 into the spare line group.

Incoming routing is programmed as follows:

To programme a line to ring a station, click the radial button for Station Range and enter either a range of extension numbers or if just one extension, enter that number in both range boxes.  You then need to select a delay, if you want it to ring immediately set that to 0 (by leaving the delay box empty, that will delete an extension from the ring assignment).  Make sure you have ticked the radial box to the left of Day/Night/Timed Ring and click save.

To programme a line to ring a station group, click the radial button next to Station Group and enter the station group number (the group will need to have already been set up to enable you to do this).  Make sure you have ticked the radial box to the left of Day/Night/Timed Ring and click save.

To programme a line to receive an announcement, click the radial button next to VSF and enter the announcement number.  If you want to play an announcement and then drop the line, tick the Auto Drop box.  Make sure you have ticked the radial box to the left of Day/Night/Timed Ring and click save.

If you assign an AA ring Time, the lines will ring the assigned stations first, then go to the selected Announcement once the timer expires.

If you have a networked site and wish the incoming call to ring over at the other site, click the radial for Net Station and enter the remote station number.  Make sure you have ticked the radial box to the left of Day/Night/Timed Ring and click save. (n.b.  you can only enter a single extension number here,  if you need a group of extensions to ring at the remote site, you will need to forward the single extension number to a group to achieve this).
