 Cloud – SIP Phone Registration when using LCM

Please note, when setting up 3rd party SIP handsets on an LCM, you will no longer be able to register a handset directly to the cloud.  This is an incorrect configuration that has been removed with the Version 3 upgraded.

In line with ELG’s guidelines, you should make sure that the 3rd party SIP handset is registered through the LCM device to enable this to be available for redundancy use.

This is covered in the LCM manual (screenshot shown below). 

Each SIP extension should be entered into the station user login and registered to the system.  This will then bring the registration across to the cloud.
