Ascom i63 – Having issues dialling internally or externally when connected remotely to an on-premise system

If you are having issues dialling internal or external extensions when connected remotely to an on-premise system, you will need a programming base to change the SIP protocol.

Connect the i63 using the WinPDM software and under edit parameters go to:

Voip > SIP > SIP protocol and change it to TCP.

Please note you need to open TCP port 5060.

If you are not sure how to get to the “edit parameters” window, please see the KB: Ascom i63 – On-premise handset setup and registration.
