This document is intended to provide the reader with the required information on how to set a LIP and the 1000i phones as a remote phone.

LIP and 1000i phones – Remote Setup

Press * to enter setup when prompted or press TRANSFER + TRANSFER (if the phone is not already set,  its MENU + 4 )

Enter password 147*

Choose profile > profile 1 or 2

In network configuration navigate to network mode.

Select DHCP or Static depending on the network settings.

Press back and then select system configuration.

Select call server and enter IP address as the external IP address.

Press OK then select Connection Mode.

Select Remote and OK.

Press the speaker key, you will then be prompted to reboot, select yes and the phone will come back up online.
