Forced Forward from a Station Hunt Group
When Forced Forward Destinations is set within a Station Group, all calls to the group will be routed to the Forced Forward Destination. Forced Forward is a feature on Circular, Terminal, Ring and ACD groups.
There are 2 settings for Forced Forward, these can be set using web admin in Group Attributes or via the keyset on any group members keyset.
1) Forced Forward Destination Usage:
When using web admin this is set in Group Attributes (PGM 191).
(Forced Forward Dest Usage= ON/OFF)
When set from the group member’s keyset it is:
Trans + * + 7 + Group No.
This command will toggle Forced Forward ON/OFF. For this reason, it is best to have a flex key programmed so you have an indication of the status.
The flex key LED will show the Forced Forward status:
ON = Forced Fwd ON and OFF = Forced Fwd OFF.
The correct status is shown on all members’ keysets that have a button programmed.
The flex button program is: Trans + Flex Button + Trans + * + 7 + Group No. + Hold/Save
(Don’t forget CO PGM must be enabled in PGM 111~113 for the station)
2) Setting the Forced Forward Destination:
This can be set to either: STA/NET/Station group, VSF Announcement or System Speed
When using web admin this is set in Group Attributes (PGM191)
(Forced Forward Destination = STA/NET/Station group, VSF Announcement or System Speed)
When set from the group member`s keyset it is:
Trans + * + 6 + Group No. + (option 1 > 4) + (STA/GRP/VSF/SPD) + Hold/Save
(Options: (Dial Digit) 1=STA 2=GRP 3=VSF (anno) 4=SPD (system)
Flex Button Programming:
It is possible to program a “Set Forced Forward Destination” flex button on the member’s keyset as follows.
Trans + Flex Button + Trans + * + 6 + Group No. + Hold/Save
When pressed the button will show the current destination and can be changed by selecting the appropriate option (dial digits 1 > 4) + STA/GRP/VSF/SPD + Hold/Save.
