iPECS UCP – Controlling users voicemail / vsf preventing the vsf becoming full

It is possible to control certain users allocations on the voicemail system – in some environments you may come across instances where a particular user is not in the office and doesn’t regularly check voicemail, therefore their messages fill up the VSF and prevent other users from being able to have messages left for them.

There are some areas where you can control this aspect – shown below:

PGM 127

Change the VM COS to 2 for example…

PGM 253 – VM COS – load 2 into the box to see the following features

You can drop the Message Length to 60 (callers will only have this time to leave their message)

You can allocate a number of messages limit – e.g. 100

You could set a retention time of 28 days, so the mailbox does not cause the VSF to fill up.

Don’t forget you can use the Maintenance / Management option for VM Delete to remote messages and free up space via web admin.
