This document is intended to provide the reader with the necessary steps to take a UCP system Database backup. Before performing any upgrades or programming changes on a UCP/emg80 system, we strongly advise you take a database backup of the system.

 

 

UCP – Taking a Database Backup of a UCP System

 

 

  1. Log into the UCP system

     

  2. Browse to the “Maintenance” tab

     

  3. Browse to “Database” and select “Database Management”

     

  4. Next to “Select structure to build” select “All Database” and click “Build” (This step may take several minutes)

     

  5. Once the backup has been created, you may append a note/title to the end of the database file name by typing in the text box and pressing “Save” if you wish. Press the “Download” button to download your Database.
