2. Document Purpose & History

  

This Document is intended to provide the reader with the required information to upload WAV files to the iPECS UCP or EMG80 System.

 

 

Uploading WAV Files

 

 

It is possible to upload professional recordings into the system for your System Greetings/Auto Attendant messages.

 

The recording has to be a WAV file in the following format:

 

CCITT G711a/u-Law, 8000Hz, 8 Bit, Mono

 

The maximum file size to upload is 20MB. 

 

The name of your WAV file needs to be the same as the announcement that you wish to play, so if you are using announcement 1, the WAV file needs to be named 1.wav.

 

Go to the Maintenance tab in web admin and click VSF System Greeting

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the drop down menu, click individual upload

 

 

The option here should always be set to First – this is the language of your system and First is UK

 

Select File you wish to upload (1.wav, 2.wav etc) and click START

 

 

 

 

Now where ever you programme Announcement 1 to play it will play the 1.WAV file that’s been uploaded.
