This document is intended to provide the reader with the necessary steps to forward a ROI number to a UK number.

 

 

 

iPECS Cloud – How to forward ROI numbers to UK numbers

 

 

 

When you are using ROI SIP trunks, you cannot forward the original CLI as you would normally.

This is due to the ROI SIP carrier not being able to send the originating CLI onward and it won’t allow the call as a result.

 

The way around it is to forward the DDI/group/user/etc… to an AA basic dial to the UK destination. The AA when set to Screened will send the AA outgoing caller ID, and if set to an ROI ported number, it will be able to forward the call then.

 

First, create an AA, under Service Number. The AA needs to be transfer type: screened and the outgoing caller id: ported and working ROI number.

 

 

 

Then under Scenario Define, set the Scenario type as Basic Dial, the Scenario Prompt with blank wav file and the Basic Dial destination will be the UK number you want to forward to.

 

 

 

 

Finally, instead of forwarding straight to the UK number, forward to the AA number created below.
