2. Document Purpose & History

 

This document is intended to provide the reader with the necessary steps on how set the Shared Lines ring options.

 

 

iPECS Cloud – Shared Line’s Ring Options

 

 

When you add an extension as a member to a shared line, it will automatically create a flexible button on their desk phone.

 

If someone dials the shared line number, the members of this shared line can be rang. The ring option will dictate what happen when same dials the shared line number.

 

 

 

 

Immediate Call – this extension will ring immediately when this shared line is called

 

3 sec to 30 sec – is the delay of when this extension will start ringing when this shared line is called

 

Immediate Incoming (No Ring) – this extension will not ring, but the desk phone’s LCD display will display the call. They can answer the call by lifting the handset and the shared line flexible key flashes red for the call. They can also press the shared line’s flexible key to answer the call.

 

No Incoming (LCD display) – this extension will not ring, but the desk phone’s LCD display will display the call, however the brightness of the LCD display is reduced, its not as bright as a normal call. If they lift the handset, this will activate the DN key or line key, so it won’t answer the call by doing that. They can answer the call by pressing the shared line flexible key which will flash red for the incoming call.

 

No Incoming – the extension won’t display the call on LCD display and it won’t ring, just the shared line flexible key will flash for the incoming call. They can answer the call by pressing the shared line flexible key.
